You may be old enough to remember the song "Streets of London", which was written by Ralph McTell and appeared on his "Spiral Staircase" album in 1969 (it wasn't released as a single until 1974). Click here for a YouTube video reminder from 1975 (other versions are available...). Original lyrics can be found here.
Fancy creating a version for the 21st century called "Streets of Bowdon"? Make your lyrics fit the tune, but come up with your own take to reflect how you feel about Bowdon. Four verses please, just like the original. You've plenty of time: the deadline for entries in 30th November 2021, and the only rule is that you must be a permanent resident of Bowdon on that date. I'll be offering a prize (tbd) for the version I like best. Scroll down to the next section to submit your entry/entries.
More competitions will be added over the coming months, so keep visiting...

Well, there may still be one or two bits of tidying up to do, but apart from some gated developments all the streets of Bowdon have now been photographed at least once.
If you live on one of the gated developments, please get in touch!
It's now August (2021) and I'll be out and about photographing all the streets of Bowdon again when summer starts to fade and the autumn colours begin to emerge, so keep your eyes peeled.
