Know any good jokes? Do they have a (tenuous) connection to Bowdon? Here's one to get you started:
Q: What's the difference between a hedgehog and an SUV?
A: The hedgehog's pricks are all on the outside
Now make us laugh.
You may be old enough to remember the song "Streets of London", which was written by Ralph McTell and appeared on his "Spiral Staircase" album in 1969 (it wasn't released as a single until 1974). Click here for a YouTube video reminder from 1975 (other versions are available...). Original lyrics can be found here.
Fancy creating a version for the 21st century called "Streets of Bowdon"? Make your lyrics fit the tune, but come up with your own take to reflect how you feel about Bowdon. As many verses as you like. There's no firm deadline, and the only rule is that you must be a resident of Bowdon. I'll be offering a prize (tbd) for the version I like best.
