Edgemoor is a residential cul de sac on the south side of Park Road. The properties appear to be apartments, and there is a garage block, which may also house some commercial properties.

Park Road (B5160) is one of the main roads into Bowdon. Its western end starts at the A56 crossroads and it merges into Langham Road (B5161) at the junction with Bow Green Road.

Pinewood is a cul de sac on the south side of Park Road. It's a residential street containing well-appointed, detached houses.

This slightly unusual property (note the tower) is at the junction with Park Road.
Has it always been residential?
"Cedar Lodge", situated at the bottom left of Pinewood.
On the day I visited, Pinewood was almost full of the vehicles of tradespeople working on a new build (or refurbishment) a couple of doors away from this property.
It was in this area that many of the springs that used to supply the earlier residents of Bowdon emerged. The first property on the right on Bow Green Road
at the foot of The Springs is called "Old Well Cottage".

The Springs is a private road. This is a view from its junction with Park Road. The springs emerge where the glacial sands and gravels overlie impermeable boulder clay.
One of the attractive detached properties on the western side of the road.
And another - this one is part of a pair. Note the light coloured brick specified by the Earl of Stamford.

This flagged area used to be open, revealing the spring that emerged here. Photos of it in its open state can be found in 11 and 12. Water from the spring now flows in a culvert down Bow Green Road to the River Bollin.
Talbot Road is in two sections, separated by a short "ginnel" or footpath (see "Southern section" below). It basically runs south from Langham Road to the junction with Stanhope Road.

"The Cottage" (shown here) is at the northern (Langham Road) end.
This mysterious property, partly hidden behind what appear to be scorched Leylandii, is on the southern section, close to Stanhope Road.
